This is a run-on sentence. It should be broken up into at least two sentences. Also, you are right: the clause "Rich in cultural heritage" is ambiguously positioned, so it is not clear what it is referring to. The way it is positioned, I would guess, it is referring to "influences." But, in my opinion, if an average reader has to do this kind of guesswork, this means that the sentence is poorly written and needs to be revised. |
