Subject: Дополнительное соглашение об изменении сроков передачи объекта gen.
Здравствуйте.

Затрудняюсь в переводе "дополнительное соглашение об изменении сроков передачи объекта". Сама фраза для меня трудноватая - перевела как "an additional agreement on the change in the term of handing over of the Object", да еще и рядом стоит "Передать участнику долевого строительства Объект ...". То есть "передача" и "передать" рядом встречаются. Допустимо ли для перевода на английский использовать два разных термина: handing over и transfer?

Контекст:
5.1.5 В случае, если строительство жилого дома не может быть завершено в предусмотренный настоящим договором срок, Застройщик не позднее, чем за два месяца до истечения указанного срока обязан направить Участнику долевого строительства соответствующую информацию и предложение заключить дополнительное соглашение об изменении срока передачи Объекта.
5.1.6 Передать участнику долевого строительства Объект, качество которого соответствует условиям договора, требованиям технических регламентов, проектной документации и градостроительных регламентов, а также иным обязательным требованиям.

Мой перевод:
5.1.5 In the event that the construction of the residential complex cannot be completed within the time as required hereby, the Developer shall, no later than two months before the date of termination of the time period specified herein, hand over to the Participant in shared construction the relevant information and a proposal to conclude an additional agreement on the change in the term of handing over of the Object.
5.1.6 Transfer to the Participant in shared construction the Object the quality of which meets the requirements of this Agreement, the technical regulations, the design documentation, town-planning requirements, and other obligatory requirements.

not later than two months in advance of/prior to the expiration of the above date notify the Participant accordingly making him an offer to sign an additional agreement regarding the change of the Unit handover date.

...Unit of a quality to satisfy this Agreement, technical regulations, design documentation and town-planning regulations or other mandatory requirements.

Should the Developer fail to complete construction of the residential building within the period specified herein the Developer shall not later than 2 months prior to the expiration of the said period notify the Participant thereof and shall send it a proposal to enter into a supplementary agreement to extend the property transfer deadline/period.

может, amendment {agreement}?.
но это не так важно.
1) Аскер, слова object / subject (в смысле русских слов "субъекты" и "объекты" как у вас) в юр. переводе - ложные друзья.
2) шакира, я сомневаюсь, что там property transfer. Developer разве владеет real estate? у вас (the property transfer deadline) скорее получается real estate deed / title transfer.
А там не просто акт приема-передачи имеется в виду?
А "construction deadline extension agreement" - может, extension of construction _completion_ deadline....?

Transfer to the Participant in shared construction the Object PROPERTY the [WHOSE quality] OR [AT A QUALITY THAT] of which meets the requirements of this Agreement, the technical regulations, the design documentation, town-planning requirements, and other obligatory requirements.

Я все же за Amendment. Наверняка в основном договоре были указаны одни сроки передачи объекта, а теперь обстоятельства изменились, и сроки приходится продлевать, поэтому стороны и заключают дополнительное соглашение (по сути, поправку (amendment) к основному договору).

Additional/Supplementary Agreement - может, описательно его так и назовут, но не как название документа.

there is an element of truth in what you say, yes, но все-таки, amendment agreement это “соглашение о внесении изменений”, а "дополнительное соглашение" – это дополнительное соглашение (imho), иначе зачем два разных названия?

моя мысль такая: если допсоглашения сводятся только к amendments/revisions, etc., то тогда это просто другое название «соглашения о внесении изменений», а если их действие пошире, то это уже отдельная торговая марка как бы
