'Bayonet fitting' usually refers to lightbulb fittings (the thing on a ceiling or wall that a lightbulb fits into). Lightbulbs either have a 'bayonet cap' (which fits into a bayonet light fitting) or a 'screw cap', sometimes called an 'Edison screw cap' (which fits into an (Edison) screw light fitting):

'Bayonet fitting' could (possibly?) have a different meaning here, but the spelling of 'boyant' is also closer to 'buoyant' then 'bayonet'.

I've now checked and I see what you mean re 'bayonet fitting' -- it could (possibly?) be something like this:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&site=webhp&tbm=isch&source=hp&ei=17aDV5u3POzWgAadoZ6IBg&q="bayonet+fitting"+-lamp+-lamps+-light+-lights+-lightbulb+-lightbulbs+-light-bulb+-light-bulbs+-cap+-caps+-watt+-watts&oq="bayonet+fitting"+-lamp+-lamps+-light+-lights+-lightbulb+-lightbulbs+-light-bulb+-light-bulbs+-cap+-caps+-watt+-watts&gs_l=mobile-gws-hp.3..41l3.3932.3932.0.6540.2.2.0.1.1.0.223.223.2-1.1.0....0...1c.2.64.mobile-gws-hp..1.1.54.3.0eilgXhJFTU

('Bayonet' refers to the two pins which stick out on either side and fit into the L-shaped slots on the fitting; what's the Russian for this?)

I'll leave it to others/the asker to decide whether it's 'buoyant'/'buoyancy', 'bayonet' or something else, based on the context, as I'm not a hydraulics expert.
