Смотря что, и смотря на каком месте определил. Похоже, проблема контекста на этом форуме так и останется стоять во весь рост. То ли лень askerам печатать, то ли секретничают без нУжды... А вот возьмите ЛЮБЫЕ значения "ОПРЕДЕЛИТЬ" и "МЕСТО", да и влепите, коли делать нечего... Без контекста - held. Determined, found тоже идут. Если определение выражено в акте - ruled |

| We are wondering about the 'на месте' part -- this means the court ruled 'on-the-spot', there and then withou any further consideration. |

Sorry guys, "in open court" is used in the UK (see R v BOW COUNTY COURT, EX PARTE PELLING [1999] 2 All ER 582 http://www.exchangechambers.co.uk/Practice&pi5.htm) and very frequently in the United States too. |
