LEATHER manufactured from the outer coverings (hides and
skins) of rare species of animals and other parts of animals
that are not normally used for making leather are known as
novelty or exotic leather e.g. rabbit skin, leg skin, cattle
stomach skin, lizard skin, tiger skin, deer skin, crocodile and
alligator skin etc. novelty leathers are processed almost same
manner as cattle hide but because of their unique fiber
structure, types of uses and having extra ordinary lucrative
grain surface, they have to give some special treatments.
