100 mile-high club - это слэнговое выражение (насколько я знаю). Означает "заниматься сексом в туалете самолёта во время полёта". Ну, может и необязательно в туалете, но обычно только там можно уединиться. По крайней мере, я знаю только такое объяснение этому выражению. |

im already a member :O (ha! not really!) context not needed: (100) mile high club is the name we use in english to describe the group of people who can say they have had sex while flying somewhere (they USUALLY do this in the bathroom on the plane - yuck!) |

| what,you think first class people know how to keep toilets clean? all the rich people i have ever been around are just like the rest of the slobs in the world and are not going to try to keep a toilet on a plane clean. |
| My experience tells me that those loos are quite clean - that's all. I am not able to see germs with my naked eye, otherwise it was spotless. And quite roomy... |
| Ребята, не надо фантазировать - самолет на такую высоту не поднимается. Насколько мне известно, по-русски это называется "клуб десятитысячников" (т.е. 10 тысяч метров = 10 км), так что английская реалия - это что-то вроде 30,000-feet club - посчитайте сами. Гуглить лень. |
| Никто не фантазирует, это шутливое слэнговое название сексуального акта в самолёте. При чём тут, на какую высоту поднимается самолёт? |

Йист, всё, я разобрался: "сленговое название акта в самолете" - это ПРОСТО "Mile High Club". Напр. здесь или по указанной ранее ссылке: Здесь же речь идет, вероятнее всего, о том, чтобы провести этот "акт" на борту не самолета, а КОСМИЧЕСКОГО КОРАБЛЯ! (один, без ансамбля :-)). |
| Айдуза, шут его знает, может Вы и правы, я слышал только 100 Mile Нigh Club в этом контексте. Век живи, век учись :-)) Но знаете, я уверен, что англоговорящие поймут это выражение именно в этом смысле. Это не стоит спора :-) |
