Subject: the token has dropped? в русском языке есть выражение типа "ну, наконец-то до тебя дошлО", т.е. наконец-то ты понял/а. В некоторых других языках есть соответствующее выражение с жетоном/token, that has finally dropped or the message has come through. What would be the correct Russian version thereof? And the following question - last week I heard the Russian speaker (a minister in the government) saying "Я хочу дать вам мессадж". What would be the PROPER and contemporary RUSSIAN word you can used instead, мессадж sounds extremely dumb for me in Russian.thanks in advance |

| thanks Anna F, but what would be Russian idiomatic (if any) for "the token has (finally) dropped? I know that the exact expression with the token exists in at least three languages (those that I speak) but I wonder whether there is some "token version" in Russian? |

then the only recourse is "вы наконец-то поняли"...т.к. "до вас дошлО" звучит слегка по-хамски... спасибо |
