2. Loosen the screws for the caps (pos. 2) and place the screws and the caps in the tool tray (pos. 3).
on the service station.
3. Turn the doctor blade retainer completely backwards by turning the knob (pos. 4).
4. Dismount the doctor blade retainer by loosening the screws (pos. 5).
5. Dismount the guards over the gravure cylinder by loosening the screw (pos. 6).
6. Lift the cylinder out of the small cassette by means of the lifting eyes on the casings (pos. 7) and the
lifting yoke.
7. Place the cylinder on the two arms (pos. 8) in the rack with the arm to the right behind the drip pad, then
dismount the lifting yoke.
8. Turn the arm (pos. 9) down over the gravure cylinder and secure it with the position bolt (pos.10).
9. Turn the arm (pos. 11) in the opposite side down.
10. Put the air hose on the gravure cylinder (pos. 12).
11. Pull the sleeve off the cylinder in one quick and fi rm pull (pos. 13).
12. Before the new sleeve is mounted the cylinder has to be greased with vaseline in both ends (pos. 14)
in order to seal the sleeve so that ink cannot slip under the sleeve.
13. Mount the new sleeve by pushing it carefully over the cylinder (pos. 15) until it hits the arm (pos. 16).
Use a cloth or gloves in order to protect the hands.
14. Dismount the hose again.
15. Grease the ends of the cylinder with vaseline (pos. 17), so that the ink cannot slip under the sleeve
and get stuck.
