Truth Seeker, i found some links in yandex and i think the word дежурант has to do with night shifts and etc... as far as i understand "resident" is a little bit different. "house physician: a physician (especially an intern) who LIVES in a hospital and cares for hospitalized patients under the supervision of the medical staff of the hospital; "the resident was receiving special clinical training at the hospital" |
