Subject: scope of employment

тема : Agency: liability of principal for agent's torts

постоянно встречается словосочеиание scope of employment. Например: Slight deviation and departure by the agent or employee to take care of personal business or pleasure will not take the agent outside the scope of employment.

Не могу подобрать адекватный русский эквивалент "scope of employment". Будет ли нормальным перевести это как "пределы, пердусмотренные договором найма агента"?????

может "пределы должностой занятости"

Scope of Employment - Duties assigned to an employee by an employer. These may be duties under control or direction of the employer. Also, may be an important factor in determining rights to ownership in an innovation by an employer. Also referred to as Course of Normal Duties.

По моему можно тоже "описание должности".
Есть и такая дефиниция: "перечень выполненных задач во время нахождении в должности".
