Subject: К сожалению мы не сможем профинансировать данное мероприятие за счет бюджета группы... Со словом invoice как можно перевести данное предложение?

Ну, может если кто там про чужой бюджет рассуждает, оно и может быть : from такой budget или сякой budget, все м.б. Но если кто про свой- to provide funding / to provide financial support- peroid. Все остальное- лишнее... Информации более чем... |

“from the group’s budget” +1, абсолютно допустимый и широко употребляемый вариант.. А toast2 я бы попросил не ехидничать и не пытаться отшутиться, а просто признать, что он неправ (в очередной раз).. |

Ну, может если кто там про чужой бюджет рассуждает, оно и может быть : from такой budget или сякой budget, все м.б. Я не про вопрос, заданный автором ветки, а о бытующем среди переводчиков мнении, что носители английского языка, говоря, например, о финансировании из бюджета никогда не употребят слово "budget". |

imho: "we cannot finance this event from the group's budget" could be OK - IF the group has the budget (i.e. a spending plan/schedule) AND the "за счет бюджета группы" refers to that plan in all other cases the word "budget" would be misleading. if there is no certainty, i would avoid it |

I’d say that there is still a probability a whole order of magnitude greater than that of a scenario where: 1) the group in question does not in fact have a budget (whereas the Russian original not just implies, but clearly states otherwise (indeed, that should have been your working assumption, and not the opposite)); or 2) the group in question does have a budget, but the phrase “бюджет группы” in fact refers to something else – how did you work this one out? That’s quite a leap, you know.. Sorry, but your contrived assumptions just don’t pass my Occam’s razor. Congratulations on a pretty impressive feat of fallacious reasoning.. |
