Subject: open meshing gen.

Доброго дня.
Помогите, пож-та, перевести "open meshing" из руководства к Trolley.

Commissioning
Ensure that the chains are correctly positioned; they must not be twisted and must hang freely.
Always refer to the operating manual of the lifting gear you are using.
The ***open meshing on the drive unit should be greased.

Наверное, зубчатая передача (открытая), т.е. не в кожухе

один из вариантов - "зацепление, ввод в зацепление". Поскольку исходный текст, походу, немцы писали, то вполне могли выбрать такой словарный вариант для обозначения зубчатой пары/передачи, зубчатого венца, зубьев. Open - ну понятно, открытый механизм, без кожуха.

Исчо оттуда же:

- Grease the meshing on the rollers and drive pinion.
- Recommended lubricant for greasing points: - Meshing, drive pinion
- Grease in bearing and meshing is absent.
